IDC TOOLS
Perhaps the most popular section of the IDC website, this page contains the following reference materials and online services that an IDC advisor can utilize to help in his/her business:

• Agent Intelligence - developed in partnership with Online Database Solutions, this online service allows the advisor to look up client information and run specific reports such as pending cases and outstanding requirements.
  
  
  
   
• IDC Performance Gateway - developed in partnership with IPS, this online service is the third section of the IDC Institute. Tools such as carrier concepts and virtual training are contained in this section.
  
  
  
   
• Forms and Documents - links and posts to carriers' online documents such as applications and underwriting forms.
  
  
  
   
•  Software - section where advisors may be able to order and/or download the current carrier illustration software.
  
  
  
   
• Commissions Schedule - carriers' current commission schedules are posted in this section.
  
  
  
   
• Interest Rates - contains links to interest rate tables. Advisors can access and research information such as interest rates for term deposit products.
  
  
  
   
• Online Quotes - developed in partnership with Winquote/Lifeguide, this tool allows the advisor to run carrier-comparative online quotes on term, CI products, or guaranteed whole life.
  
  
  
   
• Underwriting Requirements  - this section contains the underwriting charts of the carriers. This page allows the advisor to take note of the underwriting requirements for a particular case, thereby speeding up the processing of the policy.
  
  
  
   
• Carrier Sign-Up: Most carrier websites have their own password-protected "advisor section" where brokers can access invaluable information related to their business. This section contains step-by-step instructions on how to sign-up for access to the carriers' websites.
